(detroit? ): (late 1960s?). Item #1378
[African-Americana] 3” x 12”. Bumper sticker. Very good plus: minimal wear, a touch of rubbing. A bumper sticker memorializing Malcolm X's assassination of February 21, 1965. Likely dating to the late 1960s and originally purchased in Detroit, these came from the estate of an African American activist, Jerry Watts, who was the station artist for Detroit's Channel 2 news from 1970 to at least 1979.
