New York, N.Y. New York State Woman Suffrage Party, 1917. 6¾” x 5”. Bifolium printed all four sides. Very good with a few discreetly mended tears.
This is another promotional for New York's successful 1917 referendum on woman's suffrage. Its focus was on President Wilson's statements in support of suffrage, including text from a letter he wrote to Carrie Chapman Catt. Its back page reads, “Stand by Our President and make our own glorious country a Democracy--'for the right of those who submit to authority to have a voice in their own Government.'”
