This listing is for two ribbons and a program from Southwest High School in San Antonio, Texas, featuring Ty Detmer. A late-round quarterback pick in the 1992 NFL draft, Detmer played for six NFL teams over 14 seasons. While playing college football at BYU, Detmer broke numerous NCAA records, was twice recognized as an All-American, and won the Heisman Trophy, Maxwell Award and Davey O'Brien
Award. After his playing career, he became a coach and was the offensive coordinator at BYU from 2015 to 2017.

The program was for the All Sports Parade of Athletes Banquet for the 1984-85 season (held on May 18th). Inside pages list the names of athletes from each sport, including football, tennis and cheerleading, along with post-season honors. The back has the names of those presenting and speaking at the banquet, and lists the awards that would be given. The program measures 8½” x 5½”. The two ribbons are green and white, with a dragon graphic, team name Southwest Dragons and the football roster. The first name listed is T. Detmer, and it lists all the players, coaches, managers, superintendents, principals, band director, dance team and cheerleading instructor and cheerleaders. The bottom has a graphic of a football with the year 1985, and it reads “Homecoming” across the top. The ribbons measure 39¾” x 3 ”. Very good. Item #5923
