Various Places: Various Publishers and Distributors, 1968-1977. 67 mailers, most measuring around 8½” x 11” and containing up to 16 pages, in 39 original mailing envelopes. Envelopes generally very good or better; flyers generally near fine or better.

This is a collection of marketing material focused on gay pornography with a smattering of personals services. The flyers were issued in eight different cities and come from at least 15 publishers/distributors: Sovereign Advertising, Village Books and Press, Media Arts, TBC, K&J Enterprises, Luger, Le Salon, All Star Enterprises, Cosco, In Touch, Hangin' Tree Ranch, Art Hamilton, Spectra, The Photographers' Guild, and Grecian Guild.

There's a solicitation for InTouch Magazine as well as several other gay pornographic periodicals. Highlights include a 16-page catalog of photos by Troy Saxon and Ken Albert offered by The Photographers' Guild and another 16-page catalog for Fred Halstead's “Challenging Movies.” Other products include gay greeting cards, gay artwork, playing cards, leather goods, photo slides, sex toys, drag/transsexual magazines and at least four personals services are documented here. Some flyers targeted a straight audience, such as “The Photographic Marriage Manual” or the interracial photobook, “Afro-Sex.” Several of the mailers from Sovereign Advertising include a flyer for Tomcat's Bookstore in Philadelphia, a brick and mortar location for “the Gay Philadelphian's reading pleasure.”
