Real Photo Postcard of Brew Celebration. Wisconsin or Minnesota: circa 1909-1914. RPPC measuring 3 ” x 5 ”. Very good with moderate edge and corner wear and faint spots of dust soiling to image.

This is a real photo postcard showing a group of men, and a few women, celebrating what we believe to be a new batch of beer. A young man or dwarf in the center of the photo, whose elbow is on the top cask, is wearing a hat that appears to read “Drink Bonbrew.”

We are able to date the image as it came in a collection with many dated RPPCs all given to or compiled by the same recipient, who received them in this time frame. She, and presumably many of the people in the picture, was a second generation Norwegian from either Wisconsin or Minnesota. Very good. Item #9559
