This is a catalog for a furniture company illustrated with original photographs—a rarity for this time frame. A stamp on one page of the book, “I. Heidenheim 716 E. 5th St. N.Y.” likely refers to the retailer who sold these wares. The King Manufacturing Company in New Bedford, Massachusetts, was a 19th-century woodworking and specialty goods enterprise directed by William H. Washburn. It was originally founded around 1875 as Perry and Washburn before transitioning operations. The firm manufactured window and door frames, wood mouldings, shutters, rakes, and artistic wooden novelties. It employed approximately 21 men during its peak active manufacturing period.

This album is a robust exhibition of the company's easels, dressing room and other painted panels, side tables, lecterns, cabinets, mirrors, shelving, book cases, medicine cabinets and more. All are accompanied by dimensions and prices.
